Awesome Games Done Quick 2015 Raised $1.5 Million for Charity

Awesome Games Done Quick 2015 has raised $1.5 million for charity. The event was wrapped up over the weekend and was able to speedrun more than 164 games. The money was raised for Prevent Cancer Foundation.

The annual marathon was able to raise $1 million last year, which indicates that this event is attracting more and more contributors every year.

The official site shared some interesting details about this year’s edition of Games Done Quick.

The event started on January 5 and ended on January 11. All the action was streamed on Twitch and some of the most amazing games were a part of the marathon. Across a number of modern and classic platforms, players went through Dark Souls 2, Mega Man, Portal 2, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Wario Land 4, Uncharted Drake’s Fortune, Crazy Taxi and more.
