Resident Evil Revelations 2 is Coming to PlayStation Vita Too!

By   /   Jan 9, 2015

Capcom has been drawing closer and closer to PlayStation with every passing day. While the big news of the recent months was that Street Fighter V will be released only to PlayStation 4 and PC, no other consoles.

This time they have announced that Resident Evil Revelations 2 will also be released to PlayStation Vita.

Gio Corsi, who is the director of Third Party Production for Sony Computer Entertainment of America took to the official PlayStation US Blog where he made two jolly good announcements.

While the first news is related to Revelations 2’s PlayStation Vita version, the other one is about Ultra Street Fighter IV’s PlayStation 4 version. Here’s an excerpt from the post he made:

Resident Evil Revelations 2 is coming to PS Vita, and Ultra Street Fighter IV is coming to PS4, thanks to a double partnership between Capcom and SCEA’s Third Party Production. What’s more, Third Party Production is producing and publishing both titles for those platforms.

Revelations 2, which is “the latest, spine-chilling chapter in the Resident Evil franchise” is scheduled to be released episodically – it looks like The Walking Dead has made quite an impression.

There are going to be a total of four episodes with the first one releasing on February 17, 2015 in North America and on February 18, 2015 in European Union and Japan. The next three episodes will be released with a gap of one week between each.

Addition of PlayStation Vita to the release platforms of Resident Evil Revelations 2 makes it the sixth platform where it is going to launch. The others are PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.

So, are you playing games on PS Vita these days? Will you buy Revelations 2 when it releases in February?
