Mortal Kombat X Controller Unveiled, Designed Specifically For Fighting Games

By   /   Jan 9, 2015

There are tons of fighting genre fans out there, and sometimes they don’t like when they have to play their favourite fighting games with the standard console controllers. However, Mortal Kombat X developers are looking to change that, as they have unveiled a new controller that is manufactured specifically for the said genre.

The controller which you can see in the above video, ditches the analog sticks altogether in favour of D-Pad, and LB and RB shoulder buttons are now alongside the four-face buttons.

The controller will be made available for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 users, and is expected to be priced between $35 and $50. No release date has been provided for the controller just yet, but here’s hoping that it comes out before the game’s release.

In Mortal Kombat X, you will take control of some of your favourite characters from the franchise, but this time, they will be equipped with even more gory moves that will allow you to finish off your opponents in brutal ways.

Moreover, stage environment can now impact the overall gameplay, which sometimes will help you, and sometimes will work against you. This means that you will have to keep an eye on your opponent as well as the environment.

Mortal Kombat X is set to hit the stores on April 14, 2015 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
