It is not often that we see major changes in a big company on the executive level. However, Warner Bros. decided to shake things up a bit and brought in David Haddad as the executive vice president and general manager.

Haddad is going to be responsible for the day-to-today operations of WB’s game division. The division which is behind some amazing titles such as Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, Batman Arkham series and Mortal Kombat. These games are loved by millions and Warner Bros. has a reputation for quality games. Haddad will now be responsible to maintain their level of quality.

He will report directly to Ron Sanders, WB Worldwide Home Entertainment Distribution president and DC Entertainment President, Diane Nelson.

David Haddad released the following statement regarding his new position:

I am looking forward to working more with the talented WBIE team to stay on the trajectory of success and grow the company as the industry evolves. We will continue our strategic focus on producing games based on our key franchises with our outstanding development studios, as well as extend our mobile and live-games capabilities.

Before this, Haddad was the executive vice president of publishing operations at WBIE. Warner Bros. seem to be confident about his leadership skills and believe he will take the gaming division in the right direction.
