Nintendo has announced that they will be teaming up with GungHo Online Entertainment to bring the popular iOS title, Puzzle & Dragons to Nintendo 3DS. However, this 3DS game will not exactly be like the iOS version, as it will feature the infamous Super Mario Bros.

The newly announced game is called Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros and it will be making its way to Japan on April 29, priced at 4000 Yen.

The announcement of the game is accompanied by a trailer, which provides a glimpse at the puzzle gameplay which you will be enjoying once the game has been released.

The iOS version of Puzzle & Dragons was released back in 2012, and it has grown in popularity ever since. Latest report indicated that the game has been downloaded over 32 million times only in Japan, whereas 6 million downloads have been recorded for North America.

The gameplay looks almost the same, but this new version will have the universe and the characters of Super Mario Bros. which will surely attract a lot of fans.

As of now, Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros has only been confirmed for Japan, but we will update you when (and if) the western release of the game is announced.
