Microsoft is Hiring Software Engineer to Work on Top Secret Projects

By   /   Jan 6, 2015

Software giant Microsoft previously posted a job listing in search of a software engineer to improve the security of Xbox One. Now again, the company is looking for another engineer to work on some Xbox related projects. These projects will be “top-secret” and will “push the envelope”

So what are these projects about? Well, from the looks of this new job listing, it seems as though these super-secret projects will be specifically related to Kinect.

“If you’re passionate about the potential for Kinect to continue to revolutionize entertainment and are a seasoned software engineer with the skills to prototype and build the future of premium Kinect-powered experiences, we have a growing team of talented people who want to take entertainment into the future,”

Most probably a future iteration of Kinect I believe. If you are considering applying for this job, then be warned! According to Microsoft, joining the team working on these projects will not be easy and will come with “risks.” Moreover, they bluntly stated, people who are looking for a comfortable job, shouldn’t even bother to apply for this position.

It is also possible that this team will also be a part of the long rumored virtual reality projects of Microsoft but at the moment nothing can be said for sure. We have contacted the company for more details, and as soon as something comes-up, we’ll let you know.

Until then, feel free to speculate about this in the comments below and let us know of your take on the matter.
