Events of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Take Place Three Years After Uncharted 3
A few new details have been revealed for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, including the fact that the game takes place three years after the events of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
In the new installment, players will be searching for a mythical pirate utopia said to be located in Madagascar. On his quest, Nathan Drake will be joined with his long lost brother Sam, who is played by Troy Baker.
The new details come right after it was announced that the February cover of Game Informer magazine will be featuring Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. These cover issues usually contain a ton of new details, and it’s said that next month we’ll come to know what Nathan has been doing in these past three years. More importantly, we’ll also come to know what exactly happened that caused Nathan to wear his treasure-hunting attire again.
It’s speculated that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is going to be the final game in the franchise. While Naughty Dog hasn’t really confirmed that, it does look to be true. With the great reception of Last of Us and rumors of the studio already working on a sequel, we could see Naughty Dog focusing on creating a few more titles in that franchise in the years to come.
