Rockstar Squashes GTA V PC Release Delay Rumors

By   /   Jan 3, 2015

GTA V has been out for more than a year on last-gen consoles and was recently released for PS4 and Xbox One as well. However, PC fans are still waiting to get their hands on this highly popular title. They are yet to experience the madness of Trevor Phillips or the day-to-day activities of a deranged Michael.

PC version was originally going to come alongside PS4 and Xbox One iterations but was later delayed to January 2015. Now, usually when a release date is announced for a certain game, Steam updates their website and posts that said date.

Strangely, when GTA V was delayed and it was announced that the PC version will be available on January 27, 2015, Steam didn’t update their website. They Still haven’t.

This raised a lot of concerns and a rumor started to circulate around the web, that GTA V has been delayed once again. Possible to Feb/Mar 2015. Thankfully, Rockstar has cleared things up and according to them there is no delay.

One GTA fan took to Rockstar’s support page and stated his concern, to which Rockstar replied with the following statement:

“GTAV will be coming to PC on January 27th. We have not announced any changes to this date at this time.”

That’s good to hear and I am sure PC fans will be relieved to read this statement. For now, there are no delays and the title is heading to PC as Scheduled.

As for the console version of GTA V, players should play GTA Online this weekend as Rockstar is offering double RP and cash on select playlists. For details, visit the link “>here.
