Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn To Get A Ton Of Content With Patch 2.5

By   /   Jan 2, 2015

Naoki Yoshida, the producer and director on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, in a new post has stated that the next year is going to be incredibly busy for him and his team as they are going to release the first part of Before the Fall patch 2.5 on Jan. 20, and then they are going to work on its second part as well.

He continued on to mention that when the first part of patch 2.5 will go live, it will feature two third of the main scenario quests, while the last portion of these quests will arrive with the second part, which is scheduled to arrive by the end of March.

Before the Fall, patch 2.5 will also contain three new dungeons along with the conclusion of the Crystal Tower quest line and the World of Darkness. Furthermore, the patch will bring the adventures of Hildibrand and a ton of other content to the game:

The patch will also feature the adventures of Hildibrand ─ agent of enquiry, inspector extraordinaire ─ on his latest (and perhaps final?) investigation, a new battle against Odin, the Dark Divinity of legend, in Urth’s Fount, new gear for gatherers and crafters, numerous new recipes, and more.

In the end, Yoshida wished everyone a happy new year and assured that 2015 will be yet another great year for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
