Microsoft’s New Year Deals Offer Huge Discounts on Xbox One and Xbox 360 Titles

By   /   Jan 1, 2015

2015 is upon us and what’s greater than to play the best of 2014, in case you missed them! Microsoft’s ‘Countdown to 2015’ sale ended yesterday, but a New Year Sale popped in its place, offering discounts on several titles on the Xbox One and Xbox 360.

The discounts are applicable on both exclusive and multiplatform titles, starting today until Jan. 6, 2015. Additionally, you’ll also get huge discounts on Games on Demand and Add-ons. Another important thing to note is that these deals are only available to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. The list is long, but here’s what we think are some of the best titles of the New Year Celebration sale:

Xbox One

  • Destiny – 25% Off
  • Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare – 25% Off
  • FIFA 15 Holiday Edition – 35% Off
  • Tales from the Borderlands Episode #1 – 50% Off
  • Tales from the Borderlands Season Pass – 15% Off
  • The Telltale Games Collection – 50% Off
  • Alien Isolation – 50% Off
  • Forza Horizon 2 Day One Edition – 15% Off

Xbox 360

  • The Orange Box – 75% Off
  • Bully – 75% Off
  • Red Dead Redemption – 75% Off
  • Max Payne 3 – 75% Off
  • Forza Horizon 2 – 20% Off
  • Spec Ops: The Line – 85% Off
  • Mafia 2 – 75% Off
  • Game of Thrones Season Pass – 15% Off
  • LA Noire – 75% Off
  • Destiny – 25% Off
  • Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare – 25% Off

If you are looking for some multiplayer experience, both Destiny and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare attracts a large number of players on Xbox Live and new content is being added on frequent bases. The complete Telltale Collection for half its price is not a bad deal either, especially if you’re a fan of Telltale’s storytelling.

As for Xbox 360, there are a handful of classic titles from Rockstar Games including Bully and Red Dead Redemption, and LA Noire for as low as 75% off. And there are quite a lot new titles as well. For complete list, check out Microsoft’s Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hyrb’s Blog.

Looking forward to replaying any of these titles before 2015 showers you with its own gaming wonders? Let us know!
