Final Fantasy Creator’s Cancelled Game, Cry On Looked Great!

By   /   Jan 1, 2015

Fans of the Final fantasy series, and other old time gamers would know all about Hironobu Sakaguchi. He was the creator of the series who later went on the lay the foundations of Mistwalker development studio.

The guy has sold over 100 million copies of his games, which shows one thing; whatever this guy or his studio is making will be worth a try at least.

However, not all the projects of Mistwalker have had that fate; one of their RPG titles was cancelled some time back.

The game was called Cry On and it wasn’t until now that we have been able to see how interesting the game would have looked had it come out.

A short trailer for Cry On has surfaced around six years after Mistwalker and defunct developer Cavia shelved it.

Hironobu Sakaguchi himself shared it on his own YouTube channel but didn’t clarify if this has any meaning other than the good old memories.

Other games that Mistwalker has developed include Terra Battle and The Last Story.

Check out the trailer above and tell us if it is something that you would have liked to play had the game not been canned back in 2008?
