Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare – Havoc DLC Announced

By   /   Dec 31, 2014

Following news of a leaked poster, Sledgehammer Games has now officially announced the first DLC for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare called Havoc.

It will release first on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 on January 27 as part of the usual timed exclusivity deal between Activision and Microsoft. The DLC will then arrive on other platforms (PlayStation and PC) later on an unspecified date. In this case it’s usually a month, unless Microsoft has decided to increase that period.

Havoc will feature four new multiplayer maps: Sideshow, Core, Drift and Urban. At this point nothing is known about the setting of each map, except that each will feature dynamic events.

Alongside the announcement of the DLC, Head of studio Michael Condrey also teased something “behind” Drift in the poster. Looking at the image, there seems to be an avalanche in the background – signifying at least one of the events players can look forward to.

The DLC will also feature a bonus multiplayer weapon called the AE4-Widowmaker, an energy assault rifle. Additionally Sledgehammer Games is bringing in a new EXO Zombies mode.
