By   /   Dec 30, 2014

2015 is an exciting year for Xbox Gamers as they are getting their share of exciting exclusives as well as some awesome multiplatform titles.

In 2014, Xbox One got some AAA exclusives with Xbox 360 getting its fair share of support as well. From the looks of it, 2015 is going to be a relatively better year for Xbox owners.

Below is the list of our top ten most anticipated Xbox One games of 2015, check them out and let us know of your top ten in the comments.

#1: Halo 5: Guardians

I don’t think any Xbox fan will disagree with this one. The next Halo is certainly the most anticipated Xbox game of 2015, not only for us here at SegmentNext but for millions of fans across the globe as well.

Halo 5: Guardians will see the return of our beloved Master Chief who is being tracked by a new character known as Agent Locke. The story will further unfold when the game comes out in late 2015.

#2: Quantum Break

Remedy Entertainment made quite a name of themselves with Alan Wake games and they are back once again on Xbox in the form of Quantum Break.

Set in a fictional Riverport University and the surrounding areas, the game will put players in the shoes of Jack Joyce who has the ability to manipulate time and is looking to stop one of his old colleagues, Paul Serene from destroying time itself.

Quantum Break is at number #2 of our top ten list.

#3: Rise Of The Tomb Raider

At number 3 we have the amazing Lara Croft who is returning once again after her adventure in 2013’s Tomb Raider.

Her wits and survival skills will be put to test in Rise Of The Tomb Raider. The game will feature heart-pounding action sequences and players will be taken to multiple locations across the world.

Well since the last game was a blast and the new one is a timed exclusive, we don’t have a reason to not to include it in our list.

#4: Tom Clancy’s The Division

If Ubisoft manages to deliver on its promise with Division, this game is strong a contender for game of the year. The game is inspired by the Directive 51 and Operation Dark Winter.

Certain disease has spread, due to which New York has collapsed in only 5 days. Without food, water or any other basic necessities, the city is in chaos. As a last resort, a special unit known as the Division is sent in to handle the situation.

Division focuses heavily on multiplayer and is described as a third-person shooter and RPG. Unlike most shooters, this one seem to have a lot of replayability, due to the RPG elements. Division is certainly one to look out for in 2015.

#5: Batman Arkham Knight

What an adventure it has been so far for Batman fans with the Arkham series. Although, the series will come to an end after Batman Arkham Knight but hopes are that Batman won’t retire from video games.

The title will be available in summer 2015 and is surely going to be a rollercoaster ride, especially with the Batmobile involved.

#6: Evolve

No doubt, Evolve is one of the most anticipated games of 2015. The concept is fresh and the game looks incredible both in terms of gameplay and visuals. Evolve is a 4 vs 1 first person online shooter in which 4 players will take the role of hunters while the fifth is a giant monster, fighting for survival. Evolve deserves to be in the top ten.

#7: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will conclude the story of Geralt of Rivia but don’t worry, the game is a standalone experience and you won’t have to play the previous games to understand the happenings.

The Witcher 3 will feature a massive world, around 3 times larger than older titles. Which means there will be plenty of exploration and lots of side quests. This one is surely worth the money.

#8: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

This year we saw the release of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, which gave us a taste of what to expect when the full game comes out in the form of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Big Boss is out for revenge on Chiper after waking up from a coma of 9 years. The journey of Big Boss is not something to miss out on.

#9: Mortal Kombat X

Mortal Kombat is a must have game of 2015 if you are a fan of the fighting genre. For the first time, this franchise is making its way to a next-gen gaming machine in addition to the older one.

Since it’s the first outing of the series on Xbox One, some changes and new additions have been made. Each of the character in the game now has not one but three variations. Each of the variation will feature a different moveset, which players can adjust according to their playing style.

Mortal Kombat X is our 10th most anticipated game of 2015.

#10: Ori and The Blind Forest

Developed by Moon Studios, Ori and The Blind Forest is a platform adventure game releasing in 2015. Players will play the role of Ori, a guardian spirit who fell into the dark forest. Ori is adopted by a bear like creature who raised Ori as his/her own child.

We highly recommend Ori and The Blind Forest for all Xbox gamers out there.
