The Last of Us 2 is in Early Development, Suggests LinkedIn Profile
The Last of Us has been regarded as one of the best games of the last generation and those of you who have played it, wouldn’t argue on that point. Due to its large success, the game was re-released on PlayStation 4 where it received equally great reception from both critics and fans alike.
After enjoying their time with the game, players have been craving for a sequel, and according to a Linkedin profile of one of the former employees at Naughty Dog, The Last of Us 2 is in early production.
The profile belongs to one Michael Knowland, who previously worked at Naughty Dog as a lead character artist for almost three years. In that time, he worked on The Last of Us, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and The Last of Us 2.
However, not a lot of work has been done on the sequel, as Knowland notes that only one month of head sculpts prototyping was done by him on The Last of Us 2.
Naughty Dog titles have been one of the biggest reasons for PS3 sales and now it seems that they are going to bring their best work to PS4 as well.
Almost everyone who owns Sony’s new gen machine is looking forward to get his/her hands on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End next year, and after its release, we can expect Naughty Dog to officially unveil The Last of Us 2.
