Criminal Girls: Invite Only Shows “Motivation” Gameplay
Publisher NIS America released a new trailer for Criminal Girls: Invite Only that shows off one of the central gameplay themes in the game. This Playstation Vita title is centered on seven girls who try to escape from the bowels of hell.
The game follows a dungeon crawling model, where the girls are periodically attacked, whisking the screen away to a battlefield. Here, it’s possible to give the characters commands to perform.
However, these hell spawn, each with their own sin, are rebellious and don’t always want to follow orders like they should. If the girls act out of line and use the improper attack, it’s possible to sit down with them, as explained by NIS America:
Connect with the girls. Uncover each of their unique personalities through one-on-one motivational sessions with a unique use of the front touchscreen and rear touchpad. Fulfill the girls’ special requests to discover more about their interesting and often dark pasts.
This act is depicted in the trailer for the group of characters, as they’re bent into several positions. Prompts appear to punish the girls around several targeted body parts, with words like “very good” appearing at a particularly well done poke.
Once properly motivated, the girls will fall in line, which can open up special combo attacks. An obedient girl is a good girl.
Criminal Girls: Invite Only will launch on PS Vita on February 3 in North America and on February 6 in Europe. Some of those motivational sessions have been edited, which happens more often with these types of localizations.
