Destiny Free Upgrade From Last-Gen to Current-Gen Will End on Jan. 15, 2015

By   /   Dec 17, 2014

Bungie has reminded its last-gen players that Destiny is free for upgrade on either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One until January 15, so if you want to move on to the new gen, now is the time.

The offer to upgrade from last-gen to current-gen was announced by the developers even before the initial release and a lot of players have taken advantage of this offer as well.

However, those of you who did not purchase the new consoles in the November sales, still have holiday discounts to look forward to for the new console, and upgrade Destiny.

Now is also a good time because a new expansion for Destiny called The Dark Below has been released, which adds a ton of new stuff to the game that will keep you busy for quite some time.

However, this offer is only for the same brand, which means that Xbox 360 players can upgrade only to Xbox One, while PS3 users can only upgrade to PS4.

As mentioned before, this upgrade is free till Jan 15, 2015. After that, you will have to pay full price to play the game on current-gen machines.
