Riptor Returns to Killer Instinct Season 2 as a Playable Character

By   /   Dec 16, 2014

Ever growing characters list of Xbox One exclusive Killer Instinct has received yet another character named Riptor who is actually an augmented dinosaur.

Due to augmentation, this dinosaur is capable of performing attacks at a pretty fast pace giving its opponents a very little time to think or react.

If that wasn’t enough, Riptor can also breathe fire and can hit its enemies with his tail from quite some distance.

Overall, this character looks awesome and its moves are equally fantastic, but you don’t have to take my word for it, you can check the upcoming character out in the attached video above.

Killer Instinct Season 2 Ultra Edition users will be able to play as Riptor starting tomorrow, whereas Combo Breaker Season 2 holders will have to wait till 23rd of this month to try this new character out.

The game served as a launch title for Xbox One and even to this day, it is one of the best fighting games available on the console.

Future of the game is also looking very bright, as Phil Spencer assures that Microsoft will invest more in the IP.

Also, Killer Instinct update 2.2 is in works at the studio and will make its way to the game on 1st of January, 2015. You can get more details on this update right here.
