In a report by Push Square, it has been revealed that throughout the whole year, PlayStation Plus subscribers were given over $1300 worth of free games. On the other hand, Xbox Live Gold subscribers got $584 worth of games.

The numbers provided above are not specific to one platform though, the 1300 USD figure includes all the free games that were made available to PS Plus subscribers on all platforms, and same is the case with Xbox platforms.

Although these figures are pretty impressive, but it is also worth noting that not all the users own all the platforms, neither they want to play each and every game that has been put on offer.

When it comes to the quality of the games, there wasn’t too much difference as the average monthly score for all free games offered on PS platforms was 79 in US and 78 in Europe, whereas Xbox Gold Subscribers free games’ average score was 78.3.

During the month of December, PS Plus subscribers of PlayStation 4 will be able to get their hands on Secret Ponchos and Injustice: Gods Among Us.

On the hand, PS3 owners will get Hitman HD Trilogy, and the cult hit Deadly Premonition: The Director’s cut. PS Vita owners will get their hands on Final Horizon.

Finally, there’s Titan Attacks! That will be coming to all three platforms i.e. PS3, PS4 and PS Vita.

Xbox One players can get their hands on Worms Battleground this month, while Xbox 360 owners can download The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief and SSX.
