Remastered Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 4 Coming To Current-Gen Consoles

2014 is the year of remastered games, we saw the releases of Tomb Raider and The Last of Us among others. However, 2015 has also received its share of remastered games as well.

Fans will be excited to know that Capcom has now announced that two of their highly popular games are hitting Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One next year in a remastered form.

Which game you ask? According to Capcom, Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 4 will be available for the latest in console hardware running at 60 FPS and 1080p.

Starting March 17 next year, you can pick up the definitive edition at your nearest retailer as well as the online store (PSN,Xbox Live) of your respective consoles.

As for the price, if you are located in Europe, you pick-up the definitive edition for €39.99. Meanwhile, fans in North America will have to pay $39.99.

For this price, you will get all of the previously released DLC content including Virgil Downfall story mission. Also, to freshen things-up, some new gameplay features and modes have also been added.

The first new game mode we have is Vergil’s Bloody Palace Mode. In this mode, players will be able to take the role of Dante’s twin brother.

Second on the list is Gods Must Die mode. This will give you some extra challenges on a higher difficulty.

Last but not the least, we have Must Style Mode and Hardcore Mode. These two will let you play the game in classic DMC style.

The title has also received some balancing and improvements based on feedback from the fans.

Well, this was regarding the definitive edition and I would love to talk to you about Devil May Cry 4: Special but, at the moment we don’t know anything about it, other then a release window. The game is expected in summer 2015.
