NetherRealm Studios Working on WWE Immortals for Mobile Devices

By   /   Dec 11, 2014

Warner Bros. Interactive announced a new free-to-play WWE mobile game today called WWE Immortals.

The title is being made by Mortal Kombat developer NetherRealm Studios, in association with Phosphor Game Studios. Apart from that, the publisher only shared minute information and promised to reveal more ahead of the official release.

WWE Immortals is scheduled for a worldwide release in 2015 for iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch and Android devices. The game is said to “feature epic Superstar battles in a fantastically re-imagined WWE world”.

From that statement, we can assume that the game won’t feature realism and this “re-imagined WWE world” will incorporate over the top super moves, which entirely might not be bad at all.

There were no screenshots or gameplay videos accompanying the announcement.

NetherRealm Studios is currently working on Mortal Kombat X, the latest installment in the fighting franchise will be making the next-gen jump next year in summers for consoles and PC.
