Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster Officially Confirmed for PS4

In the wake of earlier leaks, Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster will release on the PlayStation 4 in spring 2015.

Announcing during the PlayStation China press conference taking place in Shanghai today, Square Enix also confirmed that the game will be available next year in digital format through the PlayStation Network and in physical format through retailers.

The collection includes high-definition remasters of Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X: Eternal Calm, Final Fantasy X-2, Final Fantasy X-2: Last Mission, and the credits and bonus audio.

The game will cost $49.99 in North America and £39.99 in Europe. A Japanese price is still to be determined.

Additionally, the remaster of Final Fantasy VII is also expected to release on the PlayStation 4 during the same spring 2015 time frame. It will launch as a digital download for $15.99 / €15,99 / £12.99.

Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster is already available for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
