Dying Light Will Not Have a Review Embargo, Won’t Get a Demo

Dying Light is easily one of the highly anticipated launches of next year, as it brings parkour to the zombie struck world.

To make the deal even sweeter, Techland has stated that the game will not feature any embargoes whatsoever, which means that you can expect the game’s reviews to come out before the actual release date.

No, we do not have embargoes of that nature. We want to be as transparent as we can towards our fans, so don’t worry – there won’t be any review embargoes before the game is released.

No embargo shows the confidence that developers have in their upcoming survival horror adventure.

Lately, a lot of games have been receiving post launch reviews due to these embargos, which isn’t allowing the players to know whether the game is good or bad before actually purchasing it.

However, those of you hoping to try out the game will not be very happy to know that Dying Light is not going to get a demo.

So, if you are on the fence about the title then you will have to make your decision based on the reviews, which thankfully will come out before launch.

With Dying Light, Techland wants to take the horror to a whole new level. There’s obviously zombie killing and parkour, but more interesting feature of the game is its night time, which will give you a run for your money.

According to the developers, this night cycle will only last for 7 minutes but this time “is enough to make a grown man say: I don’t want to go out at night again.”

Dying Light is set to launch on Jan. 27, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
