Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’s Release Date Might Have Been Unveiled

Hideo Kojima, the creator of the hugely anticipated Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain may have revealed the release date of its upcoming title.

Kojima gave us our first look at Metal Gear Online at the Game Awards, but some users on Reddit have managed to find another exciting tidbit.

Kojima’s shirt which he wore at the event read “tjugoandra den sjätte” which is in sweedish language and translated version of this is “twenty second the sixth.”

So, according to this, we may be getting our hands on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on June 22, 2015.

Although this is just a speculation but it is Hideo Kojima we are talking about, and he has a long history for this kind of teases.

It’s been a long time since the game was first announced, and players are getting restless and want to get their hands on the new title.

Kojima has tried to bring a new life to the series with the upcoming entry, as the game is now totally open world, and players will be able to complete the objectives in any way they want.

Officially, there’s no fixed release date for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, but it is scheduled to come out in 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
