Kill Strain is a Free-to-Play Multiplayer Action Game for PlayStation 4

By   /   Dec 7, 2014

Kill Strain, a free-to-play top-down multiplayer action title, will release for the PlayStation 4 in 2015, Sony San Diego Studio announced yesterday at PlayStation Experience.

The developer described the game as being “fast and addictive” with a 5v2v5 team structure that is “highly competitive”. The game will feature plenty of micro-transactions as a source of revenue but studio head Christian Phillips was pretty clear that it would not punish players who chose not to spend real life currency.

Kill Strain is currently in a pre-alpha state and is available to be played on the PlayStation Experience show floor. Sony San Diego Studio wants players to help “shape what Kill Strain will ultimately become” and that can be possible through continuous feedback.

The developer is currently taking beta signups and curious folks can secure a spot by registering at the game’s official website.

Kill Strain first came to light in April this year when Sony filed for a trademark with the same name.
