No Man’s Sky New Trailer Teaches Players How to Travel Across Worlds

By   /   Dec 6, 2014

One of the biggest indie titles that made an appearance at The Game Awards 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada was Hello Games’ procedurally-generated space exploration, No Man’s Sky.

Similar to the last year’s debut trailer, the video took its viewers on a ride across procedurally-generated worlds, each with its unique flora and fauna among other elements. The trailer also showcased a planet inhibited by large robots – showing its diversity.

One of the primary features of the trailer was to familiarize players with five different ways used to journey from planet to planet:

Portal is just one story that you can find yourself writing as you play No Man’s Sky. It also reveals five ways you’ll travel the galaxy: walking across the surface of planets, flying in their atmosphere, jetting into space, warping between systems and finding mysterious portals, which take you… somewhere…

Additionally, the band, 65 Days of Static, who worked on the game’s background score also performed live on stage.
