Red Dead Redemption 2 to Focus on Co-op; Coming to PS4, Xbox One?

I know we already have had a lot about the existence of Red Dead Redemption 2 but the development of the sequel is still to be confirmed by Take Two Interactive. What we have for you now is another claim supporting the sequel from, apparently, an insider at Rockstar.

Well, the source of our information is nothing more than a claim made by a series fan who says that he has talked to someone at Rockstar – an inside guy – who in turn confirmed the development of a sequel.

Not only that but apparently the game, which is being developed for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, is also going to focus highly on co-operative play, making it deeply integrated into the game:

So I spoke to an insider at Rockstar who confirmed that Rockstar is indeed developing a sequel to Red Dead Redemption for PS4/Xbox One. Don’t have a lot of concrete details but expect co-op to be integrated and focused on.

We know that Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to come out someday because Strauss Zelnick, the chief executive officer of Take Two Interactive has shared previously that ‘it seems quite obvious that Red Dead is a permanent franchise.’

Also, we picked up a LinkedIn profile suggesting a sequel some time ago and then the fact that Rockstar was hiring as many as 37 new employees back in September that could very well be working on the Red Dead Redemption sequel.

How would like Red Dead Redemption 2 to bring you a more extensive co-op gameplay as compared to the previous game? Any advices that you might have in your mind?
