Lego Batman 3 Leaves Suicide Out Of The Squad DLC
Publisher Warner Bros released info on one more downloadable content (DLC) pack for Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. In early 2015, The Squad DLC will add several darker characters to the breezy adventure games.
As the names suggests, new appearances are themed after The Suicide Squad, which leaves its trigger word out of its name. If that’s really the problem, however, perhaps Task Force X would’ve been the better option, though it wouldn’t link it to the newly announced tie-in.
Warner Bros will make a movie about the Suicide Squad, which is set for release on August 5, 2016. Actors and their character roles have been confirmed as follows:
- Jared Leto – The Joker
- Margot Robbie – Harley Quinn
- Will Smith – Deadshot
- Tom Hardy – Rick Flagg
- Jai Courtney – Boomerang
- Cara Delevingne – Enchantress
DLC in Lego Batman 3, however, also features Deathstroke, who was also used in the recent Batman Arkham Origins. Team members will need to make their way out of a prison in this new content.
The Squad DLC is part of the game’s Season Pass selection, which was announced earlier. It features tie-ins to The Dark Knight, Batman’s 75th anniversary, Arrow and Bizarro World.
A Season Pass for Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham costs €14.99. Each DLC pack can also be bought separately, for a price of €2.99.
Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, Nintendo Wii U, 3DS and PC. Not all platforms may get access to additional DLC.
