Dead or Alive 5: Last Round Confirmed For PC

For the first time, the highly popular Dead or Alive series is heading to PC. Koei Tecmo confirmed that early next year the game will be released on PC through Valve’s Steam Store.

This game was originally announced for Sony’s PS4 and PS3 as well as Microsoft’s Xbox One and Xbox 360. The game features the largest roster of the series, with a total of 34 characters; two of which are newcomers.

Well, that is good news! The bad news is that the PC version of Dead or Alive 5: Last Round won’t ship with online features. According to the game’s support page on Steam:

Online modes for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round will be added in a patch within 3 months of release.

Better late than never, right?

The game is now available for pre-order on Steam and if you do decide to pre-order, you’ll get a 10% discount.

Moreover, Koei Tecmo has also revealed the minimum PC specifications required to run the game. You can check them out below:

Minimum System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 7 Professional 64bit Service Pack 1
  • Processor: Intel Core i5
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Additional Notes: Online modes for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round will be added in a patch within 3 months of release

The official specifications don’t mention how much graphics memory will be required to run the game, but I believe we will hear more about this.

Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will be released on PC on Feb. 17, 2015.
