Assassin’s Creed 2015 Set in Victorian Era London, Will Introduce Grapple Hook Assassinations

Couple of hours ago, we reported on some screenshots that leaked the latest entry in the Assassin’s Creed series, Assassin’s Creed Victory. The leak has how been confirmed by Ubisoft who stated that their team in Quebec has been working on the game for ‘the past few years!’

Naturally that is supposed to mean that the developers have really clocked in a lot of hours with this one. In fact, the very first details that we have been able to siphon out of the information shared by them so far further evidences that there are some new gameplay elements in place for us.

In the video above you see our Adam McDermott talking about some of the new things that we are going to see in the game.

The first one is combat sequences on the top of moving vehicles and the second is the ability to change your outlook/ costume while you are on the go – this one is evidenced by a screenshot where the character is taking a hat from a woman.

However, the most important one here is the introduction of Grappling Hooks on a whole new level. While recent games in the series haven’t really used the feature in combat or in assassinations, it looks like Assassin’s Creed Victory is going to let you assassinate enemies using grappling hooks.

This will definitely give a whole new level to the way you maneuver around the enemies, take part in combat and of course, flee an area.

What do you think about the expected additions to the gameplay in Assassin’s Creed Victory? Moreover, what other things would you like Ubisoft to try out with the upcoming title?
