XenoBlade Chronicles X is a Wii U exclusive JRPG which is aiming for a 2015 release. Game director Tetsuya Takahashi took to twitter in order to share some new details about the title.

According to his posts on twitter, apart from Kunihiko Tanaka, many other artists are working on the game, and they are designing a number of different alien races.

Each race will have its own unique attributes and culture. Takahashi is going to reveal these races at the game’s official webpage.

Furthermore, it was also revealed that Yuichiro Takeda is not the only one handling the script. The main reason of this being that it is too much for just one person to handle.

Takeda is being helped by Kazuho Hyodo on the script as he has some experience of working on Sci-Fi. XenoBlade Chronicles X is set in the year 2054, where two alien races are at war with each other near earth. Their war caused a lot of damage to our planet.

For that reason, earth is inhabitable, so joint government is launching Earth Species Pan Immigration Program; Humans are using ark ships to evacuate.

The story of the game follows an ark ship which crashed on the planet Mira, as the passengers of this ship try to make a new home on Mira.
