Steam Winter Sale 2014: Day 2 Features Shadow of Mordor, Wolfenstein, Sniper Elite III and More

By   /   Nov 27, 2014

The Steam Winter Sale 2014 is now into its second day and brings a much better lineup of titles compared to yesterday.

Featured Deals (as of writing, will be renewed in 1 day and 22 hours)

  • Age of Empires II: HD Edition (80% off – $3.99)
  • Banished (60% off – $7.99)
  • BioShock Infinite (75% off – $7.49)
  • Kerbal Space Program (40% off – $17.99)
  • Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor (33% off – $33.49)
  • PayDay 2 (75% off – $7.49)
  • Spintires (66% off – $10.19)
  • Total War: Rome II – Emperor Edition (75% off – $14.98)
  • Wolfenstein: The New Order (66% off – $20.39)

It’s always great to see recent releases being offered at discounted prices during Steam sales.

Yesterday, it was The Evil Within and today we get Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. If you haven’t picked it up yet, do so now. The game is a beautiful piece of work and I have yet to find a soul that got bored playing.

BioShock Infinite is another no-brainer. Strategy fans should take this opportunity to add Age of Empires, Banished and Rome II to their libraries. A friendly warning though, Banished is a most frustrating yet rewarding experience.

Flash Sales (as of writing, will be renewed in 22 hours)

  • Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 (80% off – $7.99)
  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut (75% off – $4.99)
  • Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (75% off – $4.99)
  • Max Payne 3 (75% off – $4.99)
  • Might & Magic: Heroes VI (75% off – $7.49)
  • Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 – Full Burst (75% off – $7.49)
  • Risk of Rain (75% off – $2.49)
  • Shadow Warrior (90% off – $3.99)
  • Sniper Elite III (50% off – $24.99)
  • Tropico 5 (65% off – $13.99)

While Lords of Shadow 2 is currently in a flash sale, note that the first Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Ultimate Edition is also discounted for the same $7.49 price. For $15 you can pick up both titles; where the first is a must play while the second has been received with mixed reviews.
