Every year, at annual Video Game Awards show, we get to see world premieres of some of the major upcoming titles.

I am sure that we will witness some great games at this year’s event as well and among those reveals will be Metal Gear Online.

Geoff Keighley confirmed this news via twitter, where he stated that world premiere of the upcoming online mode will happen next Friday night at Game Awards 2014.

Metal Gear Online was initially launched in 2008 as an additional online element of MGS 4: Guns of the Patriots.

The standalone version of this mode was available until 2012 for the players who just wanted to play online. Up to 16 players were allowed to participate in the variety of online game modes.

With a large number of improvements happening to the single player aspect of the upcoming Metal Gear Solid title, we can expect to see some major changes in the online mode as well.

Game Awards 2014 are scheduled to take place in Las Vegas next Friday, December 5, and you can check out the nominees for different categories right here.
