Telltale Games has surprised everyone by revealing that the first episode of Tales from the Borderlands called Zero Sum will be available to download on Steam for PC and Mac as of today.

PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 users in North America will also get the game sometime today.

On the other hand, Xbox One owners will have to wait till tomorrow, whereas Xbox 360 and European PS3/PS4 consumers will get the first episode on December 3. The iOS and Android versions are also in development and will release by the end of this year.

Tales from the Borderlands is a result of collaboration between Telltale Games and Gearbox Studios. It allow players to take control of two new characters in world of Pandora.

Just like most of the titles from Telltale, this will also span across five episodes which will release throughout the whole year. The infamous villain of Borderlands 2, Handsome Jack is set to make an appearance, which alone makes this game a must buy.

Gearbox wanted this kind of game in their universe, but was unable to do so because regular series is highly focused on action, shooting and building up weapons arsenal.

However, with Telltale’s collaboration, developers were able to develop a narrative focused storyline in Pandora.
