Capcom Teases New PS4 Title Announcement for PlayStation Experience

Capcom has teased that it is currently working on a new PlayStation 4 title that will certainly “turn heads overseas.”

Speaking in the latest issue of Famitsu, producer Jun Takeuchi said that the publisher would probably be able to announce the game soon and we should look forward to that in the coming days.

“It’s gonna be something that will even turn heads overseas,” he said but didn’t drop in any additional details.

With the PlayStation Experience event coming next month, there’s a high probability that Capcom takes the stage to make this announcement. Sony already has stated that the event will look into upcoming PS4 games for 2015, along with a couple of surprise announcements.

The PlayStation Experience will take place on December 6 and 7 in Las Vegas. We won’t have to wait that long to find out if Capcom will be announcing their new game this year or not.

Elsewhere in the Famitsu article, Takeuchi called the PlayStation 4 as an “incredible system,” and one that Capcom is working with extensively to know how far they can push their game engine.

Capcom already has Deep Down in the works and there are rumors that Capcom designer Yoshinori Ono is also working on a second PS4 title. This could be that game.
