Raptr Has Launched a New Game Video Sharing Website “Plays.TV”

By   /   Nov 24, 2014

Raptr has come up with a new game video sharing website called Plays.TV. It will allow you to share all your video game related videos at one place.

It also features a software, which is currently available to download in its beta stage. All your recorded videos will be uploaded to the newly created website through this software.

Only problem is that there are several platforms of this sort already available namely Twitch and YouTube. Twitch usually hosts longer gaming sessions, whereas YouTube is filled with different kinds of videos.

Plays.TV can capitalize on this opportunity by offering limited time videos, which will allow players to record and release only the best moments in their gaming sessions.

You can give this new video sharing platform a try by downloading the beta software from its website.

It is a good initiative from Raptr, who has made quite a name for itself since diving into the market back in 2007. As of March 2014, it has more than 22 million registered users.

Raptr’s downloadable application for Windows includes the support for Yahoo Instant Messenger, GTalk, Windows Live Messenger, Xfire, ICQ and Facebook Chat Protocols.

It also allows its users to import their Steam, PSN and Xbox Live ID to the app, as it includes some game management features as well.

What are your thoughts on this new video recording and sharing platform by Raptr? Are you willing to give it a try?
