Monolith Soft’s upcoming JRPG has been making it to the news a lot lately. Recently it was the launch of their official website and twitter profile and then the game developers shed some light on the origins of the game.

Now, Tetsuya Takahashi of Monolith Soft, the executive director of Xenoblade Chronicles X has revealed that the development of the game is almost complete.

The development [of Xenoblade Chronicles X] did have its twists and turns, but we were able to finish up (just a little more until it’s complete) Xenoblade Chronicles X in the sci-fi world we aimed for from the beginning in a seamless open-world with online play, and I feel that we were able to overcome several obstacles as far as game development goes.

Takahashi also said that the vast world that was presented to us recently at Nintendo Direct by Iwata was soon going to be in our hands for us to explore at our own choice.

Have you checked out how the game looks? If not we have the E3 trailer that would help you figure out the kind of a game it is going to be.

As far as the release schedule of Xenoblade Chronicles X is concerned, the developers have already shared that the Japanese release will be sometime in spring 2015.

However, all we know about the North American and European release of the game is that it will be sometime in 2015 – nothing more.

Do check out the trailer and tell us if you are keeping an eye out for Xenoblade Chronicles X; and if you are, do tell us why.
