No Man’s Sky: Developers Are Planning Something Unique
Announced at VGX 2013, No Man’s Sky is a sci-fi exploration adventure game being developed by Hello Games. The title will be making an appearance in a unique way, next month in Vegas.
The British studio has revealed that they will be doing something different at the upcoming PlayStation Experience Event. They’re calling it “A Night Under No Man’s Sky.”
PlayStation Experience Event is already packed with playable games, developer panels and more. And in the middle of all this, we’ll be seeing something that has “never been done before.”
What could it be? The news was revealed in a brief video, which you can see above.
“We’re showing something really different. A whole lot of new gameplay and features and things like that. We’re also going to be doing something completely different. Something a little bit crazy.
We’re calling it A Night Under No Man’s Sky. It’s something different, something that hasn’t been done before.”
No Man’s Sky features a procedurally-generated universe with 18.4 Quintilian planets. This means, the universe in No Man’s Sky is so massive, that it’s impossible for us to visit all of them.
According to the developer, it will take us 584 million years to visit all of them for 1 second.
From the looks of it, this game is surely going to take an eternity to explore. No Man’s Sky is in development for PS4 and PC.
