GTA V PS4 Day One Patch Bug Denying Access to GTA Online

Day-one patches and updates are released to address various issues, but often they become the source of an issue.

GTA V just released on PS4 and Xbox One. Players who already own the game on last-gen systems were looking forward to transferring their progress and characters to the latest build.

However, it seems that it won’t be an easy task, at least not on the PS4. Why? Because the 1.14 GB day-one patch which is mandatory if you wish to transfer data, contains a bug.

Even after the patch has been downloaded and implemented, some users are reporting that their PS4 is prompting them a message saying that patch isn’t downloaded.

That’s not all. Access to the highly popular GTA Online is blocked. After that, if the user tries to re-download the patch, another message appears, saying that the patch can’t be accessed.

Rockstar already fixed an issue with vehicle data transfer on PS4. Now, it seems that more work is required to fix the game.

This bug is not the only issue players are facing. Users are facing issues while transferring data from Xbox 360 to PS4 or PS3 to Xbox One.

Whenever a user attempts to transfer data the following message appears: “No previous Grand theft Auto Online data is associated with your Social Club account,”

Rockstar has stated that they are looking into these issues, and the company has also created a support page.

You can visit the page and report any and all of the issues you are facing.
