Ubisoft Clarifies Assassin’s Creed Unity AMD Hardware Related Issues
Following the rocky release of Assassin’s Creed Unity, Ubisoft issued a statement in which they mentioned that they knew about the visual and performance issues plaguing the PC version of the game, especially for those users with AMD hardware.
Well that bit of news didn’t go so well with the community and the official Ubisoft and Steam forums exploded with people downright cursing Ubisoft for their laziness and the fact that their games perform better on Nvidia hardware thereby forcing people to switch to another hardware manufacturer.
Yesterday, Ubisoft issued a new statement clarifying the previous statement and claiming that their message was misinterpreted. According to the statement, the developers are looking to remedy the problems being faced by everyone and not just AMD users.
According to the new statement from Ubisoft’s Community Manager UbiJohkr:
“We apologize for any confusion and want to be clear that we are working with all of our hardware partners to address known issues that exist across various PC configurations.”
Assassin’s Creed Unity was released for PS4, Xbox One and PC on 11th November and the latest installment in the franchise had an incredibly disappointing launch with not only the consumers but also many reviewers criticizing the game for its countless technical issues and glitches giving it a mediocre score.
Ubisoft however, has been hard at work releasing patches to fix the problems.
