U Craft Fails to Meet Kickstarter Goal, Might not see a 2015 Release

By   /   Nov 15, 2014

Since the release of Minecraft, it has become one of the most popular and desired games of all time. Unfortunately, Nintendo platforms are missing the Minecraft magic.

The original game is nowhere to be seen on Wii U but fans were excited to see Nexis Games working on a clone. A clone known as U Craft.

Sadly, U Craft has failed with its Kickstarter goal of $20,000 and managed to raise $1,283 only, from 49 backers.

Nexis has previously pushed U Craft to 2015. How this failure will affect the release remains to be seen. They also haven’t made any comments about this situation, so it’s difficult to predict whether or not the game will ever see the light of day.

Nexis Games Developer Isaiah White previously claimed that he will make U Craft a better game than Minecraft. That is a pretty bold claim but it seems as though we might never see if U Craft was indeed capable to beating Minecraft or not.

Still, I feel Isaiah won’t be letting go of U craft anytime soon, he is a motivated developer and you might be surprised to know, he is legally blind. I sure hope to see U Craft land on my Wii U in the near future.
