Nintendo Amiibo Loot Crate Content And Pricing Revealed

By   /   Nov 15, 2014

A few days ago, Nintendo announced its partnership with Loot Crate, a service for all geeks that provides monthly collectible products to its subscribers at nominal fees.

More details about this partnership have been revealed as well as info about Nintendo’s amiibo toys.

Unlike the usual Loot Crate shipping to various countries, the amiibo Loot Crate will only be available to US residents partly because the partnership is just with Nintendo America.

The loot crate program will deliver subscribers with a total of 10 amiibos along with some other goodies over a period of 3 weeks.

  • Week 1 — 4 amiibo (Mario, Donkey Kong, Kirby and Pikachu), a collectible mini-mag, plus an exclusive sticker & wristband.
  • Week 2 — 4 amiibo (Fox, Yoshi, Peach and Samus), a collectible mini-mag, plus an exclusive cinch bag.
  • Week 3 — 2 amiibo (Luigi and Zelda), a collectible mini-mag, plus an ultra-rare t-shirt

Sounds pretty cool right? A lot Nintendo fans would want to jump right in but the pricing might make them think twice.

There are two payment plans for this program: pay $55 for 3 weeks to make a total of $165 or make a one-time payment of $155.

Now that figure might seem pretty huge considering the total cost of 10 such amiibos is around $130 if purchased retail but this package includes some other cool goodies as well.

The only problem seems to be the rigid amiibo range available. If someone was to buy amiibos from retail stores they would have a much larger variety.
