Lego Batman 3 Errors, Crashes, Controller Fix, Bugs, Resolution Fixes
Lego adaptations of different worlds and franchises are usually fun and Lego Batman series hasn’t disappointed ever. The first two games were received well by the fans and with Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, Lego franchise has outdone itself yet again.
The game overall is looking good apart from some small issues that can be fixed by using workarounds. For the time being, you can browse through the following list to find a possible fix for the problem you are facing on your PC.
#1 Lego Batman 3 Missing DLC Problem
If you have bought the season pass, you should be able to see the DLC content on your world map. If that’s not the case, you need to check the DLC tab in game’s properties via Steam, whether the DLC is registered to your account or not.
If the DLC doesn’t show up after a restart, you should contact support. Some users have reported this issue, and it seems like the issue is at developer’s end, and we might see a fix for it in the future.
In the meanwhile, you can enjoy the original content.
#2 Lego Batman 3 Controller Fix
If your settings are not being saved, you need to go to %AppData%\Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment\LEGO Batman 3 Beyond Gotham and delete everything in that folder.
Don’t worry, your save games are somewhere else so you are safe. Restart the game and now it should work fine. There is also a fix mentioned here if you want to give it a go.
#3 Lego Batman 3 Big Trouble in Little Gotham Bug Fix
Players have been reporting a bug where deflection pad, and the laser isn’t working the way it’s supposed to be. Could be a game breaking bug for some.
As a workaround, you need to lower your resolution as to minimum value and then try again. Many have got success with it, and I hope it will work for you too.
#4 Lego Batman 3 Game Crashes on Startup
There have been some reports of the game being crashing on startup due to third party applications like Dxtory running in the background. For the time being, there is no fix for it so if you want to run the game, you will have to disable these applications.
#5 Lego Batman 3 Can’t Get 410MB Update
If you haven’t purchased the DLC, that update isn’t for you so there is no need to worry.
Furthermore, there could be an issue with achievements display in the early days. This too is not a problem you should be worried about as it will get fixed in the coming days (has happened with other games too).
#6 Lego Batman 3 Resolution Fix
If your resolution settings are not being saved in-game, you can do that manually by altering pcconfig.txt file. You can find the file in C:\Users\your_user\AppData\Roaming\Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment\LEGO Batman 3 Beyond Gotham.
Open the file and change the resolution to your linking and save the changes. You can mark the file read-only so that the game does not overwrite any changes you made earlier.
#7 Lego Batman 3 Game Crashes With DirectX 11
Some users have reported that the game is being crashed if they try running it via Dx 11. If you are sure that you have a fully Dx 11 compatible card, then you can try deleting your settings files to make it work.
Some users have also made it working by deleting LEGOBatman3_DX11 in the game folder. If you are going to delete this file, I will recommend that you make a backup first if things go wrong for you.
If you come across any other issue, comment and we will try to help you out!
