GTA Online Heists Coming After GTA V’s Launch on Xbox One, PS4

GTA Online has been out in the wild for a year now on both PS3 and Xbox 360 and for a while, fans have been requesting Rockstar to include online heists. Until now, all we heard from Rockstar was that this feature is going to be added soon.

However, that has changed. The company has now revealed that the awaited feature will be added to GTA V after the release of the game on PS4 and Xbox One.

Specifically, it will be added as part of the first post-release update, Rockstar revealed:

“…the highly anticipated launch of Online Heists which will be available for all four consoles as the first GTA Online Update to happen after the game launches on PS4 and Xbox One.”

Apart from the timeline of its inclusion, nothing else was revealed about online heists but the post on Rockstar’s website assured fans that more news will be shared soon. We’ll keep you updated on any developments.

Moreover, the post also revealed, “the story so far.” It included some interesting facts & figures about GTA Online.

2: 9,881,536 Online Jobs Created
3: 5,925,761,013 Jobs Played
4: 3,776,134 Crew in 224 Countries, Playing 2,330,825,301 Hours
5: 422,124,628 Vehicles Owned
