Driveclub Players to Get Free DLC as Compensation, Season Pass Extended as Well
The issues of Driveclub have been well documented on the internet. The game’s highly anticipated launch was ruined by several connectivity issues.
However, Evolution Studios is hard at work and has released fixes for most of the issues. Now, as an apology to the fans for the frustration, developers have announced free DLC that will be released this month.
The DLC packs will become available starting November 25 and will contain the following additions:
The Ignition Expansion Pack and Photo-Finish Tour Pack along with two livery packs – will give you a total of five new cars, 22 new tour events, 10 new trophies and 10 new livery items to play with online and offline.
Furthermore, Driveclub’s season pass will be extended, and will feature four extra packs. These packs will be released in July of 2015.
Season Pass owners will now get 38 cars, 176 tour events and 80 unique liveries, without any further payment.
Evolution Studios also revealed that it will be releasing a new Driveclub update on coming Tuesday which will include the most demanded “Photo Mode” feature along with the following additions:
- Improved multiplayer collision physics to reduce frustrating spin-outs
- Adjustments to soften the corner cutting penalty system
- Options in the club menu to view everything your club has unlocked
- A fix to allow all club owners to update their club badges
Moreover, this update will feature the previously promised race tracks of India (Yedepalli), Scotland (Wester Ross), and Chile (Los Pelambres).
Finally, developers thanked the players for their patience and support, and assured that the work on fixing the problems is still going on, with patch coming as soon as possible.
