Assassin’s Creed Unity: Will You Spend $99.99 for 20,000 Helix Credits?
The recently released title Assassin’s Creed Unity features micro-transactions that will let you purchase the alternate game’s currency, which you will be able to use for upgrades and unlockable items.
Ubisoft is offering the credits in three packages – first one will cost you $19.99 and will net you 1400 Helix Credits, second one is available for $49.99 for 9,000 Helix Credits and finally, paying $99.99 will net you 20,000 Helix Credits.
Players will be able to access customization, boost their stats or unlock weapons by using these credits.
Do note that this method of unlocking items is not compulsory. All of the items will unlock if you spend enough time in Assassin’s Creed: Unity. However, if you are looking for a shortcut, then you will need to spend your hard earned money on these credits.
Micro-transactions are not popular amongst many gamers as they kind of give an unfair advantage to the players who can afford them. And in case of Unity, a $100 package (regardless of how much in-game credits you get) seems like an overkill, right?
Well, that’s not stopping Ubisoft, as they have already confirmed that The Crew will also feature micro-transactions which will operate in a similar way as Unity.
Assassin’s Creed: Unity is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, but it is not getting the response that Ubisoft would have hoped for. You can check the game’s review round-up right here.
