Assassin’s Creed Unity will Pull off 10,000 NPCs on Screen Together

We know that Ubisoft is working really hard in Assassin’s Creed Unity to do something massive with the non-playable characters.

Now, we have picked up news that the game is not just going to have huge crowds it is also going to give you tens of thousands of citizens all packed together in one single scene.

Alex Amancio, the lead creative director for the game at Ubisoft was discussing the game in a recent episode of Major Nelson Radio show where he said that there are going to be multiple scenes where there will be around 5,000 NPCs. Then there is one where you have 10,000 NPCs!

Compare that to the previous installments in the series and you will find out that they have raised the bar at least 25 times! Previous games only had around 200 NPCs together.

According to Amancio ‘these are real AI NPCs’ that you can interact with in full capacity. He believes that thanks to scenes like these they have ‘really harnessed every ounce of power from both these consoles as much as we could.’

Now that is something really worth looking forward to.

Assassin’s Creed Unity releases in North America today i.e. November 11, 2014 so I guess you would already be geared up for everything AC.

For the rest of the world, the PAL region is going to get it on November 13, 2014; in the United Kingdom on November 14, 2014 and finally in the Japan on December 4, 2014.
