Hearthstone: Plethora of New Cards Coming via Goblins vs Gnomes Expansion

By   /   Nov 10, 2014

Some exciting news has been announced at Blizzcon 2014 by Blizzard. The company revealed that their upcoming Hearthstone Expansion called Goblins vs Gnomes will feature 120 new cards, yes it will!

The last Hearthstone expansion was Curse of Naxxramas. The expansion only added 30 new cards through single player challenges.

Furthermore, Goblins vs Gnomes doesn’t necessarily has to be bought as a whole and players can purchase it as a booster pack, or they can win it through the arena.

Goblins vs Gnomes is being described as the first Hearthstone expansion, while the previous one Curse of Naxxramas is referred to as an adventure.

Cards can be purchased using gold, the same way players are used to purchasing expert sets.

Due to this expansion, Blizzard has also created a new minion type called mech minions. They are introduced into the battle as dangerous and explosive characters.

Players should note here that existing minions such as Alarm-o-bot, Dragonling and Harvest Golem have been reclassified and are now a part of mech group.

Games like Hearthstone have a hard time keeping players interested for long but so far Blizzard is doing a pretty good job in keeping Hearthstone fresh and enjoyable for all.

More information about Goblins vs Gnomes is expected soon, we will keep you updated on all things Hearthstone.
