StarCraft 2 Legacy of the Void new Units Detailed in Videos
Today has been all about BlizzCon 2014 and the stories keep coming in from Blizzard’s video game convention. This time around we are talking about StarCraft 2 Legacy of the Void the standalone expansion to the original game.
The developers shared a host of news about some really interesting changes that they are going to make to the expansion and shared videos detailing the changes. However, before we dig into that, here’s how they are telling the story of StarCraft 2 Legacy of the Void:
Protoss legends Artanis and Zeratul attempt to unite their race in an intergalactic fight for survival against an ancient evil from the Void that threatens the universe. The fates of Terran hero Jim Raynor and Kerrigan, the Queen of Blades, also hang in the balance.
Among the changes, the most important would be the return of Lurkers in Zerg; remember those vicious burrowed spines from Brood War? Yes, those. You can check out all the changes that being made to Zerg in the video above.
Other than that, the two videos below showcase the expected changes to Terran and Protoss.
The former is going to get new units namely Stalkers, Herc and Cyclone as well as other features like teleporting to any location on the battleground.
Protoss is getting a new unit, Disruptor as well as getting a reworking on Immortal.
We still don’t have any release date for StarCraft 2 Legacy of the Void.
