Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Best Loadouts and Class Setups Guide

By   /   Nov 7, 2014

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has introduced the new Pick-13 system which is quite similar to Pick-10 system from Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

In Advanced Warfare, there are a total of 13 points to spend on everything including scorestreaks. One important thing to note is that Scorestreak Modules don’t take up any points from Pick-13.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Best Loadouts

In this guide, I’m going to provide different Loadouts/Classes for different situations. Since everyone has their own unique playstyle, Loadouts/Classes provided below are not final.

Consider these as basic outlines and add/remove certain things as you see fit.

The Mobile AK-12
The purpose of this Class/Loadout is to encourage mobility and pure offense. Perks such as Lightweight and Gung-Ho will ensure that you are always on the move and pick up targets as you go by.

You need to keep a close eye on your mini-map throughout the match to pick off targets using silenced weapons. You can replace Parabolic Microphone with something else if enemies aren’t using suppressed weapons.

  • Primary Weapon: AK-12
  • Primary Weapon Attachments: Stock and Parabolic Microphone
  • Secondary Weapon: None
  • Perk #1: Lightweight
  • Perk #2: Gung-Ho
  • Perk #3: Toughness and Blast Shield
  • Exo Ability: Exo Ping
  • Exo Launcher: Spike Grenade
  • Scorestreak #1: UAV
  • Scorestreak #2: Remote Turret
  • Scorestreak #3: Warbird
  • Wildcards: Perk #3 Greed

The Fatal S-12
S-12 is one of the best shotguns to use in CQC due to its full-automatic capability. With this Loadout/Class, it’s encouraged to stick to insides of buildings and hip fire most of the time.

Lightweight and Overcharged will ensure that moving from one building to another is hassle-free using your Exo-Shield. And finally, with Blind Eye, you won’t have to worry about enemy scorestreaks outside.

  • Primary Weapon: S-12
  • Primary Weapon Attachments: Laser Sight and Foregrip
  • Secondary Weapon: RW-1
  • Perk #1: Lightweight and Overcharged
  • Perk #2: Blindeye
  • Perk #3: None
  • Exo Ability: Exo-Shield
  • Exo Launcher: Semtex
  • Scorestreak #1: UAV
  • Scorestreak #1 Modules: None
  • Scorestreak #2: Aerial Assault Drone
  • Scorestreak #2 Modules: None
  • Scorestreak #3: Bombing Run
  • Scorestreak #3 Modules: None
  • Wildcards: Perk #1 Greed

Support Bal-27
This Loadout/Class basically encourages providing support to your team while silently picking off enemy targets and staying off the enemy radar. This is a quite simple Loadout/Class without any Exo Launcher.

The reason for choosing Bal-27 is due to its increased range and overall versatility. With Peripherals, you will be able to have a zoomed-out version of enemy radar and keep on updating your team about enemy spawns.

It has heavily relied on using Scorestreak Modules so as to provide better support for the team.

  • Primary Weapon: Bal-27
  • Primary Weapon Attachments: Red Dot Sight, Laser Sight, and Suppressor
  • Secondary Weapon: PDW
  • Perk #1: Lightweight
  • Perk #2: Peripherals
  • Perk #3: Scavenger
  • Exo Ability: Exo-Overclock
  • Exo Launcher: None
  • Scorestreak #1: UAV
  • Scorestreak #1 Modules: Extra Time, Enemy Direction, and Orbital
  • Scorestreak #2: Aerial Assault Drone
  • Scorestreak #2 Modules: Cloak and AI Control
  • Scorestreak #3: Warbird
  • Scorestreak #3 Modules: Extra Time, Extra Flare, and Warbird Wingman
  • Wildcards: Primary Gunfighter

Beginner’s Class/Loadout
This Loadout/Class is a perfectly designed build for new players. It’s a bold build which encourages players to play around with two Primary Weapons to be equally good across all ranges.

And since it’s not possible for most starting players to go on a long streak and call in high-point scorestreak, this build only uses Remote Turret without any modules.

Players are advised to stick near it and it will rack up kills for them like another human-player. The perks have been chosen to encourage agility and a broader vision of map in addition to immunity against stun/flash nades.

  • Primary Weapon: Bal-27
  • Primary Weapon Attachments: Stock and Extended Magazines
  • Secondary Weapon: Atlas Sniper Rifle
  • Perk #1: Lightweight
  • Perk #2: Peripherals
  • Perk #3: Hard Wired and Toughness
  • Exo Ability: Exo Shield
  • Exo Launcher: None
  • Scorestreak #1: Remote Turret
  • Scorestreak #1 Modules: None
  • Scorestreak #2: None
  • Scorestreak #2 Modules: None
  • Scorestreak #3: None
  • Scorestreak #3 Modules: None
  • Wildcards: Overkill and Perk #3 Greed

Veteran’s Loadout/Class
Although veterans don’t need any one telling them which Loadout/Class to go with, I played with this build and did fairly well. This is a unique build which might challenge your regular playing style which is exactly what makes it good.

Similar to Beginner’s Loadout/Class, I’ve decided to go with two Primary Weapons to give you best of both long-ranged engagements and CQC.

For the first primary weapon, I’ve chosen HBRa3 which is extremely accurate at all ranges. Couple it up with Stock attachment and you will get even better maneuverability while ADS.

For the second weapon, you can either go with a shotgun or XMG. With XMG, utilize the Lockdown Mode to protect an objective to provide support to your team.

For the scorestreak, I have once again opted for a single scorestreak because you’ll be able to use XMG in Lockdown Mode as a portable turret.

  • Primary Weapon: HBRa3
  • Primary Weapon Attachments: Stock, Forgrip, and Extended Magazines
  • Secondary Weapon: XMG with Extended Magazines
  • Perk #1: Lightweight
  • Perk #2: Gung-Ho
  • Perk #3: None
  • Exo Ability: Exo Shield
  • Exo Launcher: None
  • Scorestreak #1: XS1 Goliath
  • Scorestreak #1 Modules: None
  • Scorestreak #2: None
  • Scorestreak #2 Modules: None
  • Scorestreak #3: Toughness
  • Scorestreak #3 Modules: None
  • Wildcards: Overkill and Primary Gunfighter

Ninja Exo-soldier
The beauty of this Class/Loadout is that it heavily relies on usage of Exo-Abilities and Exo-Movements without appearing on enemy radar.

When going with this build, you won’t be able to dive directly into the action, but will be keeping your distance and discreetly picking up your targets without appearing on the mini-map.

This build primarily uses weapon attachments and perks which encourage stealth and concealing players from enemy radar. However, once you get to the highest scorestreak used in this build, you will be ready to come out and lay havoc on the field.

  • Primary Weapon: Bal-27
  • Primary Weapon Attachments: Stock and Suppressor
  • Secondary Weapon: None
  • Perk #1: Low Profile
  • Perk #2: Blind Eye
  • Perk #3: Blast Suppressor and Toughness
  • Exo Ability: Exo Mute
  • Exo Launcher: Threat Grenade
  • Scorestreak #1: UAV
  • Scorestreak #1 Modules: Orbital and Extra Time
  • Scorestreak #2: Orbital Care Package
  • Scorestreak #2 Modules: Double Tap and Better Odds
  • Scorestreak #3: Goliath
  • Scorestreak #3 Modules: None
  • Wildcards: Perk #3 Greed
