BioWare Wants your Advice on Mass Effect Trilogy Remake

By   /   Nov 7, 2014

Well, it has been months since Aaryn Flynn the general manager of BioWare Edmonton and Montreal Studios originally showed interest in the idea of a Mass Effect Trilogy remake for the new consoles.

After that, there was nothing until very recently when this year’s N7 approached. People were expecting that may be the developers would make an announcement regarding the remake. While they were wrong, Aaryn Flynn greeted them with something better (in its own way).

He is asking the series fans to share opinions and advices as to what the community would want to see on the Mass Effect trilogy remake.

Here’s what he posted on a NeoGAF thread:

The thing I’d love to hear from people is what you’d like to have in such an experience. For me (personal opinion, and based on what people have told me many times before):

– 1080p
– 60 fps
– High res textures, especially on ME1
– Some shader improvements commensurate with newer GPUs
– All the DLC
– ‘Seamless experience’ – the adventures flow into each other without having to go back to save import, menu screens, etc.

Agree / disagree? What else?

Obviously, this has aroused a lot of interest among the people while giving them a renewed hope in the possibility of the remake.

The whole thread is pretty lengthy and Flynn has taken time out to respond to the fans, even discussed different scenarios with them; which is a good inclusive way forward!

So, what would you want to advise him? Okay let’s put it this way, what would you want to advise him other than having a different ending to the trilogy?
